Our mission is “To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue. We have two locations, one in Evansville, Indiana and one in Chrisney, Indiana. We have helped over 10,000 animals since we were created in 2010.

Volunteer Be a Hero

Volunteers are always needed. Be a hero see the many ways to volunteer,

Dog Day Out is a top choice. Spend time with our dogs outside of the shelter to provide a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. It’s super easy and fun! Learn more here.

Other Ways to Help

We are always looking for people who can:

  • Donate ink cartridges
  • Donate Kong toys
  • Sign up for Wooftrax
  • Buy a Spay/Neuter License Plate

This Saturday, September 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., our annual Yard Sale will take place at our Rescue Center, located at 1417 Stockwell Rd. The sale will be accompanied by Cinia’s Salvadoran Kitchen food truck, Willow&Wags Co., and Brocks Rockin’ Scents. Moreover, animals that live on sight and over one year old can be adopted for a name-your-price fee, plus a $13 microchip registration fee.

We hope to see everyone tomorrow!

Painting with a Twist (Evansville, IN)

Painting to help ITV animals – pawsome!! Please join us on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm for a DIY painting class. At the end of the class you will go home with a 16×20 canvas that you can treasure forever! The cost is $39 per person and it is open to people of all ages! 50% of your fee will be donated to ITV (as long as we have 20 people there)!! This is a great time for inexperienced painters to have some fun while helping homeless animals! Drinks, including wine, can be ordered during the class.

Painting With A Twist is located on E Virginia Street between Burkhardt and Green River road, on the same strip as Lollipop Tree and opposite to Play it again Sports.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to get uncorked and in your seat! If you desire more time, you may arrive up to 30 minutes early; it's your Happy Half Hour!

FOOD AND BEVERAGES: You are welcome to bring in any food and non alcoholic drink to enjoy during class. Please do not bring your own alcohol, they will sell wine and beer. They will card everyone before serving.
