Our mission is “To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance.” We are a 501(c)(3) mostly volunteer, no-kill rescue. We have two locations, one in Evansville, Indiana and one in Chrisney, Indiana. We have helped over 10,000 animals since we were created in 2010.

Volunteer Be a Hero
Volunteers are always needed. Be a hero see the many ways to volunteer,
Dog Day Out is a top choice. Spend time with our dogs outside of the shelter to provide a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. It’s super easy and fun! Learn more here.

🚐💔 R.I.P. Rescue Van: Gone but Not Forgotten! 💔🚐
Our trusty red van has driven its last mile. After years of heroic service and over 150,000 miles, the transmission has finally decided to take a permanent vacation.
This van has seen it all: furry passengers, endless vet visits, adoption events, and the occasional food run (hey, rescuers need fuel too!). It’s been our partner in rescue for many years, but now it’s officially “trans-mission” impossible. 😅
Now, we need your help to get back on the road! We heavily depended on the rescue van so we have an urgent need for a new one. A cargo van to transport more animals in need would be amazing! We’re fundraising for a new rescue van to continue our lifesaving work. Will you consider a $5 donation to get us back on the road? Every donation, big or small, helps us save more lives.

Audubon Chrysler is known for donating vehicles for a good cause, and has supported animal rescues in the past. Might be worth contacting them.
