We fostered Sherman (you called him “Jiffy”) the day before Thanksgiving in 2013. He was this tiny malnourished pitiful little puppy that you just want to pick up and love. He was dumped off with the rest of his litter and you put out a plea for fosters so none of them would have to be destroyed. We couldn’t let that happen! We took him in, loved him and nursed him back to health. Now he is our 45 pound ball of fun! He fits into our family like he always belonged with us! He and his brother Oreo love to play together. Sherman is such a sweet and gentle spirit we are thinking of training him to be a therapy dog so he can lift the spirits of those who need it most.
