Bruno has settled in to his home very well. He loves car rides, squeaky toys, walks, chewing up sticks in the backyard, snoring in my ear while he sleeps next to me in bed, and taking over the couch. We started training classes last month, and that has gone *pretty* well–there’s room for improvement, but we’re working on it. His fur is showing no signs of growing back, but it’s all good because that means I get to buy him a lot of cute sweaters. With all that he has been through, no one would be surprised if Bruno chose to be standoffish, but he is the exact opposite: he is so full of love for everyone and everything that he meets. He reminds me every day to choose happiness. And it’s hard not to be happy with a sixty-pound baby who snuggles up to you any time you sit down.
