We have a 14 year old lab who had a best friend (a little chi mix) next door who she seen almost every day. While her owner was coming over to our house one afternoon he failed to put him on a leash and he was killed while chasing a car. My lab went into such a depression that I didn’t know if she would last long herself. But I went to petsmart a couple weeks later and found A little long haired chihuahua he was there with his foster and I decided to take him home for my lab and it has been happiness ever after.we have since added a third dog also a rescue, so now our little Motley Crue is complete with “ Tessa our lab “ “ Igloo our chihuahua “ and “Django our Jack Russell mix”
